What data we process

• Enquiries. If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, company and the content of your message.
• Server log data. When you visit the website, the web server automatically records technical information needed to deliver the site, such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the browser type and the referring page.

Why we process it and on what legal basis

• To answer your enquiry and, where relevant, prepare an offer or order. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in responding to messages we receive (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• To operate the website, keep it secure and prevent misuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a reliable and secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• To meet legal obligations, for example accounting requirements where an enquiry leads to an order. Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

Providing personal data is voluntary. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling or automated decision-making, and we do not sell it.

Service providers

The website is hosted by an external hosting provider, and email is handled through an email service provider. These providers process data on our behalf only where technically necessary to host the website and deliver messages. If any provider processes personal data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards required by the GDPR.

How long we keep data

We keep enquiry correspondence only for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and longer only where the law requires it, for example for accounting or tax purposes. Server log data is kept for a limited period for technical and security purposes and is then deleted or overwritten.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to request access to your personal data, and its rectification or erasure. You may also request restriction of processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and, where applicable, receive your data in a portable format. Right to complain

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In Latvia this is the Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija), www.dvi.gov.lv. You may also contact the supervisory authority in your country of residence or work.
